UK cooling specialist Iceotope has closed a $26 million Series B led by Two Seas Capital and Barclays Climate Ventures. Founded in 2005, the company is now tied directly to the physical bottleneck of AI data centers: heat.
Iceotope’s direct-to-everything approach immerses the whole server chassis in a non-conductive dielectric liquid, putting chips, memory, power and networking parts in direct contact with coolant. Its KUL AI rack system and KUL BOX server product target both data centers and edge deployments.
The market is expanding because Blackwell-class and MI400-class accelerators can push racks toward 120 to 200 kilowatts, far above the 30 to 40 kilowatt range of traditional air cooling. The next signal to watch is whether hyperscalers move Iceotope from pilots into large procurement.
