Anthropic: AI Could Theoretically Handle 94% of Programming Tasks
Anthropic's new research introduces "observed exposure," a measure that distinguishes what AI can theoretically do from what it is actually doing in the workplace. The study finds that while 94% of programming tasks are technically feasible for AI, only 33% are currently being performed by it, and that high-exposure jobs tend to employ more educated, higher-paid workers and more women.
