Lexroom raises $50M for civil-law legal AI

Lexroom’s argument is that many US legal AI tools were trained for common-law precedent, while Europe, Latin America and much of Asia rely on written civil-law codes.

Its database of more than six million verified legal sources is meant to reduce fabricated citations and keep national legal differences visible to the model.

The Series B will fund expansion in Spain and Germany, where local data, local partnerships and civil-law expertise matter more than a generic English legal assistant.
